Launching 2.20.20 at 1 o'clock set
It’s true yesterday ColourPop announced that they were creating a Sailor Moon themed makeup collection. This hits me right in the nostalgia, I love Sailor Moon. I have figurines. I have stickers, I have clothing, all of Sailor Moon. As A kid I use to have all of the action dolls (Thanks Mom & Dad) and a good chunk of the plushes.
She has always been my favorite hero and I have fond memories of going back to Blockbuster for the 100th time to rent the Sailor Moon Movies every Saturday night. My favorite scout was hands down Sailor Neptune, I think it was because of the blue hair, with Sailor Pluto coming in at a close second. Watching the cartoons was a part of my daily schedule and I am not ashamed to say that I know all of the lyrics to the theme song.
Fighting evil by moonlight, winning love by daylight
I still remember receiving sailor moon themed birthday gifts, and I literary got a sailor moon sticker from my sister for my last birthday. My love of Sailor Moon is not a surprised to my friends and family.
I received multiple texts yesterday informing me of said collection and I presided to freak out, I have to have the entire collection in my procession, not to use because it will be way too pretty to use but instead to add it to my growing Sailor Moon collection.
ColourPop X Sailor Moon is a collaboration I did not realize I was waiting for but I one hundred percent needed.
P.S. Rumor has it that there may be more collections featuring the other Sailor Scouts, so like here’s my money take it.
