Rochester General Hospital is pulling out all the stops
As many of you may know RGH has been building their critical care center at their location on Portland ave. Recently they have announced the addition of what is to be the first hospital in the nation with a Wolfgang Puck Kitchen counter.
The CEO and President of RGH, Eric Bieber stated,
“The restaurant reflects our mission of providing the highest quality of service and care to our patients and visitors,”
The RGH Wolfgang Puck Kitchen Counter will be opened daily and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as stocking a grab and go counter.
This will be a great addition as currently RGH does not have many food options during the weekend.
This opening will be the chef’s first causal-dinning concept, and the menu is stated to have items such as beef ribeye, Asian chicken salad, and wild mushroom pizza.
As someone who spent many months through the years in the hospital for a loved one I can say that the RGH Wolfgang Puck Kitchen counter will be such a help to individuals that don’t have the time or energy to go home and cook after long stressful days.
The Kitchen Counter is slated to open September 2020.
The Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care began construction in the spring of 2017, this center will include a 7-story addition to the hospital. 312,000 square feet, 23 multi-disciplinary operating rooms, 108 private patient rooms and 14 special care nursery rooms. Slated to be completed in 2020.
