For those of us with dry skin we learn very quickly that exfoliants are not optional, they are always always needed, especially if you want a smooth make-up application. There is always a noticeable difference before and after when I actually use them on the regular. As someone with extremely dry skin I have tried numerous exfoliants and these are definitely the best of the best.
Prism is an exfoliating glow serum with 12% AHAs and 3% BHA which reveal smooth blemish free glowing skin.
One of my favorites, just a heads up this product does have quite a distinct smell but you get use to it!
For best results apply 4 to 8 drops to freshly washed skin. Massage in as a leave in treatment. You can start by using it 2 to 5 nights a week and working your way up to nightly. Some tingling and redness can occur after application.
This product is vegan, cruelty-free, gluten free and comes in recyclable packaging.
The Ordinary’s Peeling Solution contains more then twice the AHAs as Prism with 30% but only 2% BHA.
This product truly gave me a visible difference in about a month, my skin felt significantly smoother. This is not an every day product, try not to use it more than twice a week. Also, it definitely looks like you smeared blood all over your face.
This product offers deep exfoliation that helps prevent pore congestion and improves skin radiance. It helps improve the appearance of skin texture. and reduces fine lines.
Cruelty-free and Vegan, this product also does not contain alcohol, gluten, nuts, oil, silicone, paragons and sulfates.
Herbivore is one of my favorite brands for their minimalist packaging, this glass jar of Coco Rose truly made me fall in love. Scented with coconut and rose this all natural body-scrub is the perfect addition to any day of pampering.
Coco Rose provides an immediate difference after the first use, your skin feels instantly smoother and moisturized.
This product is vegan, noncomedogenic, cruelty-free, and formulated without gluten and silicone. Definitely a must have in your collection.
The Tatcha Rice Polish in Gentle is by far the most interesting exfoliant that I have used.
To begin insure that your hands and face are wet, pour about a half-teaspoon of powders into your hands and rub until a creamy foam in created.
Message this foam into your face for 15 seconds being sure to avoid the eye area. Rinse with warm water and voila.
I will always recommend this exfoliant if you are a fan of not feeling like your face is extremely dry after exfoliating. The Tatcha Rice Polish is very gentle and leaves the skin significantly smoother after repeated use.
